we stopped off at local burger, a burger joint that has everything on the menu made locally. i had the turkey burger, but you can have pork, deer, and elk. we then made our way to the KU campus to watch mindy walk down the "hill." appearantly this is big tradition, i'm sure steph could fill me in. thankfully she wanted to leave after the walk because it is finally feeling like summer time.

It is a tradition I often do wish I would have experienced first hand as a graduate, but good 'ole SMS worked out well for me. :) Tradition/superstition has it that you can't walk through the bell tower until the day you graduate on your way down the hill. A couple of my cousins have graduated from there and it was so hot sitting on those bleachers. Nonetheless, rock chalk jayhawk!
i did hear about that...thank goodness i didn't have to sit in on the whole ceremony, it would've been unbearable.
Steph, we talked about you while we were there b/c we were wondering about the hill and bell tower things and we knew you would know!
